YIZKOR BOOK TRANSLATIONS Can you help?

This page is my attempt to catalogue yet to be translated chapters in yizkor books, that may contain valuable information relating to Yiddish dance and music.  The New York Public Library has scanned and put online many yizkor books, so that it is now possible to access the texts in their original languages, (usually Yiddish and Hebrew).  If you can assist with translation, even in terms of providing a synopsis of the chapter, please contact me.  I will post the translations here, even if they cover subjects outside the realm of dancing.

I have excerpted the relevant chapters, and am trying to enlarge and enhance the text, to make it easier to read when printed out (still working on this for many entries).  You can also read the texts online at  the New York Public Library web site, though the printout is quite tiny.  If reading on-screen, zoom in to enlarge the text.

The Jewish Genealogy web site has an ongoing yizkor book translation project; however, these particular chapters haven’t yet been  translated. In addition, Yale Strom, in the Book of Klezmer, has provided a synopsis of many of the texts noted below.  There is also a selection currently available yizkor book translations that deal with music and dance on Ari Davidow's  Klezmershack.
